Welcome to Fashion Revived, my Forest of Dean based business specialising in teaching you to sew.
Hello, I'm Caroline Jones and I work from my home in the beautiful Forest of Dean. I love sewing and love teaching others the skills I have built over many years of dressmaking, patchwork and other sewing.
I've been a stitcher all my life, making clothes, curtains, soft toys, embroideries, patchwork, quilts, curtains and cushions to name but a few. I've been married for over 25 years, have two wonderful children and having worked at a full time job I now concentrate my efforts on doing what I love, which is needlework of all sorts. |
As an aside I am also into canals and have a full boatwomans costume I made for myself.
I wore the costume to do some horseboating a few years back and appeared on the cover of Canal & Riverboat magazine! I also have a full pirate costume me hearties!! and have made a full set of curtains for my narrowboat, complete with co-ordinated cushion covers, a porthole bung and a skylight bung! |
Stop Press!!
We're well into 2015 now and my current dressmaking courses have just finished, some of the students have opted for private tuition but I do have two, 10 week courses starting soon, as well as a one day patchwork workshop.
